English idioms can sound like nonsense, but could there be wisdom hidden between the lines? 

 

The Tongue-in-Cheek Necklace turns some of our most-loved rhymes, riddles and habits into a theatrical pageant. From a cow vaulting the moon to butter that simply wouldn’t melt, each little scene is hand-painted in champlevé enamel and framed in pavé diamonds. Proof that serious jewellery can have a sense of humour…

 

Glorious diamond detail and tactile lengths of chain lend swagger and movement. Totalling 2.70ct, a 1.50ct oval and eight 0.15ct heart-shaped diamonds are glittering punctuation between the scenes, each stone held in a bezel setting for a modern statement. 

 

Over-the-top and unapologetically excessive, the Tongue In Cheek necklace is a lesson in irreverence. Because who says pigs won’t fly? Not taking life too seriously should be a piece of cake…

Cece Jewellery is handmade from start to finish. We want to make sure each piece gets the time and attention it deserves, so please allow 22-24 weeks for this enamelled piece. Please inquire if there is a greater urgency to the timing of the delivery. We wish to accommodate customer’s delivery requests if we can. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our pieces, these timelines are an estimate and are subject to change.
