After studying History of Art at University and then dabbling in the art world, I decided the corporate life wasn’t for me, and had the desire to head back to my creative roots, following in the footsteps of my free spirited family. I then went on and studied Jewellery Manufacturing at the British Academy of Jewellery in London, refining my skills as a jeweller and designer. I currently work from my West London studio where Cece Jewellery has grown from an idea into a small independent business.
My brand focuses on handmade, fine gold jewellery, using materials that are recycled and ethically sourced where possible to create delicate everyday pieces. The inspiration behind my work is a combination of where I was born and where I grew up – spending my life travelling in between Devon and London. The wilderness of Dartmoor, with its earthy magic and elemental beauty combined with the vibrancy and edginess of London is a theme that will always run through my creations.
